Iron Fist Creations by Mike Sherman Custom, handmade Belt Buckles, jewelry and Metal art. In 1983, I asked a good friend of mine who made belt buckles if he would show me how. I owned a tree service and wanted to make my own one-of- a-kind company belt buckle. Climbing trees, and running a chainsaw is far different than manipulating a 4/0 to 6/0 jewelers saw, with teeth smaller then a hair, cutting nickel silver. Draft the art and graphics work. Transfer the design to the metal. Drill holes and cut your design out, Braze that design down to another piece of metal and cut. Bend arch. Turn over and braze the belt clip on. Mix color in resin. Pour color into buckle. Sand down to 600 grit and buff. Living in the Chiloquin area, our winters give me extra time for what I enjoy. Mike Sherman
