LACY EARNEST

Lacy's artwork is trendy, and very modern and unique.  The younger and mid-range aged patrons are loving Lacy's paintings.  Mediums used are acrylic paint and texture additives to do a "pour paint" onto canvas.  She is mostly inspired by nature, movement, and contrast - which is beautifully reflected in her artistic pieces.  

 

Although Lacy comes to us from Eugene, Oregon (we made an exception to the rule that we include only Klamath County Artists).  Lacy is the daughter of Susan Dougal, one of our Advisory Team Members. 

 

In Lacy's youth, she recalls having always been "crafty."  In high school Lacy took formal Art Courses, immersed herself in the Arts, and would take every Art Class offered.  In college, Lacy took a couple more Art Courses, and discovered she avidly enjoyed painting on natural substrates and fiber arts.  

 

Lacy is employed as a Legal Assistant, but her constant passion is for the Arts.  Painting provides her the opportunity to self-reflect and surrender the day's stresses for her own well-being.  This love for art has continued to motivate Lacy to create pieces inspired by her love of people and nature.  

 

One of her artworks "Fairy in My Mind" has crystals on the edges and throughout the painting which sparkle when light hits it!
