Skylar Bergstrom

Skylar is from Plains, Montana.  She recently moved to the Sprague River area and is calling it home.  She is into hiking and horseback riding. 

Being out in nature is what inspires her.  While out in nature adventuring, she has come across animals that have perished and she collects their skulls and bones.  After cleaning, she gives them a new life by turning them into art.

Skylar paints landscapes, animals, plants and some abstracts on her found treasures using acrylic paints.  She feels like using acrylics holds up best on her art.  Some of her work is in black and white while others are in color.  She says her inspiration comes from the beauty of nature and other artists.
