Maighread (Pronounced Marade, like Parade) Thomas, and her husband, have just recently moved to Chiloquin. She was born in a small fishing village in southeast Ireland, Abeyside. She has always been interested in making her own jewelry. She is now semi-retired and loves creating beautiful artwork. She believes there is nothing we cannot achieve in life if we put our heart, mind and soul into it. Her gem stones are from all over the world. She is intrigued by  learning more about rocks and their formation. She is always looking for new friends who cut, polish and make cabochons. She will be participating in farmer’s markets here and in Tillamook County. Her pricing is very reasonable and her jewelry is exquisite. She has won awards at the Tillamook County Fair and this past year received second place in the Art for the Heart Awareness Exhibit run by Adventist Hospital during the Valentines season.
